Back in 2007, Tom and I ventured ourselves one morning at Horsetooth after a snow storm during the spring. Service road up, Wathen down - The trails were mildly damp and snow could be found on the north facing parts of the mountain... It's not because i broke my bike again but i just booked a ticket for Vegas (flying out tonite) to attend the Interbike show. The last beat...

For some reasons.... it didn't come as a surprise when this evening my eyes caught something unusual*debatable* on my frame - My lower swing arm has 4 distinct cracks nearby the joint with the frame.... ouch.... see the pixies.... that frame is officially dead. FIFO meets 4:50 club

Jay and Scott from the First In First Out riding group down in Denver had the guts to get up ultra early and ride with us this morning.... beautiful morning it was - The eight of us scrambled through the dark via Wathen and Upper Horsetooth Rock then Audra. The moon and the sun traded their beauty today at 5:30 this morning... i dived into pain

It was a full moon today - for some strange reason, the only 4:50 club rider was myself and my 'trusty' bike - I rushed up the mountain as I was trying to catch the moon over Longs Peak. All was going well and I was feeling strong between the 'out of breath moments'.
